
WELCOME
Busara is a Swahili word meaning wisdom and we've made it our mission to re-connect you to your innate wisdom for self-care. Our luxury yoga and wellbeing breaks include one, two and three day retreats in gorgeous locations, each chosen for their unique energy and closeness to the natural world. We provide a space for people to step away from modern life and re-discover their inner peace. We do this through an exploration of our three pillars of wellbeing wisdom: movement, meditation and manifestation.



Movement
Our first pillar invites you to move not just for physical benefit but to move with intention. We do this through the use of asana (posture), pranayama (breath), mantra (sound) and mudra (hand gestures).
We encourage you to use this movement to sharpen and cultivate your awareness. Your awareness of your physical body, your mind and your place in space and time.
Through the practice of hatha and kundalini yoga you'll deepen and fully explore your yoga practice.
Meditation
In yoga, the purpose of our physical practice is to prepare the body to meditate. Our second pillar establishes this practice.
Come and explore the many facets to this ancient practice that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and enhances your overall wellbeing. Meditation is more than
just sitting in stillness.
So, join us to discover the transformative power of a range of meditative and self-care practices to enhance your journey to inner peace.
Manifestation
On our retreats manifestation is
two-fold. You will create physical manifestations of our themes through fun, creative activities that help
you honour your inner child and help focus you in truly mindful ways.
Secondly, we'll come together in community, but also encourage you
to enjoy mindful moments alone, exploring the nooks and crannies of
our beautiful venues.
And enjoy all of this while you visualise how to attract and manifest your
future goals and dreams.
